Location: Binghamton University Campus- Old Union Hall
On Tuesday October 10th from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm students and community members will join together to discuss the issue of food insecurity on the Northside of Binghamton, NY. We will discuss how a community operated cooperative grocery store can help to resolve this issue in a way that will foster community growth and sustainable development. Come and join the conversation and learn how you can get involved and make a positive impact on the Binghamton Community.
This event will include a simulation to learn what it is like to live in a food desert as well as a panel that will lead a discussion on the issues of food insecurity in the area. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

This is a very informative video on running a Co-op.
